We ran as a family, Doug with JB and Erynn with Greta, around downtown Galesburg. The weather was hot and muggy, and it started raining as we crossed the finish line (good timing). The race had a total of 20 people and wasn't clearly marked (I was following the course map with my phone in my hand the whole way) nor were all of the intersections closed. It was an "interesting" race, but we had a blast. The race was sponsored by The Whiskey Barrel restaurant and benefitted the Boys & Girls Club of Knox County. And they served us pancakes when it was over!
