end-of-winter parade
We went to the Sommertagszug in Weinheim. It was a gorgeous day for a parade. The parade consists of a bunch of school children marching through town and then they burn a paper snowman to mark the end of winter. The kids all make decorated sticks in school and most are topped with a pretzel and egg.
