Luxembourg, Ypres & Vimy
Erynn's parents came over to visit us in Germany after JB was born. Doug and Erynn's dad, David, took a road trip to visit some battlefield memorials in Luxembourg, Belgium & France.
David's grandfather, Greta and JB's great-great grandfather, fought in a number of key WWI battles for Canada. Including being wounded three times at Vimy Ridge in France. The trip allowed David to fulfill a life-long wish to visit these battlefields and remember his grandpa.
