Doug competed in the Men's Master C 4x and Men's Master C 8+.
In the quad we broke the rudder carrying the boat to the dock and we had some steering problems during the race. Plus it was our first race together and we ran out of gas in the last 500m.
In the 8+ we had a really great race. The crew committed to the effort to maintain our position in the race. We finished 3rd in our heat, but our time was the 5th fastest out of 22 eights, and more importantly, we beat Speyer who was in the lane next to us!
