Doug headed to the US for work and was able to stay over an extra day and race in the Trinity Quad City Classic Regatta. A friend helped procure a nice Empacher single to race and Doug took 2nd place. The water was extremely rough for the first 3000m, but you only see the calm, sheltered last 750m in the photos.
