Doug raced at the University of Iowa Indoor Triathlon and took 1st place in the Men 40-49 category. The race consisted of 10 minutes in the pool, 10 minutes on a stationary bike then 10 minutes on the treadmill. His results were: swim - 525 yards, bike 4.5 miles, and run 1.43 miles
